After the launch this Spring into Summer of MyLibrarian to public beta on TestFlight, I’ll continue my writing strategy of working every other day for 2-3 hours. During the deep dev re-working of the MyLibrarian app and writing the provisional patent paperwork last month, I let go of my work in progress, and now later this year, mean to finish it, after MyLibrarian launches.
Contemporary fiction is what I love to write, because of the way they can be a day in the life read that means you know where the character action is taking place, or you can visit.
Recently, I was in New York feeling nostalgic, especially because of the FX/Hulu series Love Story. I saw that the pair had gone on a date at one of the Indian restaurants on Indian row in the East Village, most of which are gone now, except for Panna II.
So I went to Panna II for lunch and wasn’t the only person who had started doing this. And I appeared in this NY Post article, sharing my experience.
This really goes to show that Day in the Life contemporary fiction translates better to screen than fantasy, because instead of just imagining, you can actually go and Be There IRL. And share sights and other stuff you know people should know about.—MEZ
